The Travel & Hospitality Awards is delighted to spotlight a vibrant new addition to the UK’s wellness and dining landscape. Born in Islington and shaped by the principles of Bhakti Yoga, Omnom has now arrived in Birmingham with a new flagship venue that blends plant-based dining, spirituality and community into one inspiring destination.
From the moment guests step inside, Omnom’s mission is unmistakable. The brand was founded on the belief that food and wellbeing belong together. At the core of the experience is a fully vegetarian and mostly vegan Indian menu created in partnership with the respected Namaste Village group. The culinary offering celebrates authentic flavours from across India, featuring dishes such as masala puri, beetroot kebabs, Mughlai curries and delicate dosas. Each plate is crafted with fresh ingredients and locally sourced produce which creates a dining experience that is both indulgent and mindful.

The Birmingham location is the largest and most ambitious Omnom site to date. The upstairs level is devoted entirely to dining, complete with a 150 seat restaurant, a dedicated bar, a conservatory and a private dining area. Warm lighting, natural textures and low seating corners inspired by traditional Indian design create an atmosphere that feels soulful and contemporary at the same time. The space is perfect for relaxed meals, celebrations and memorable evenings built around flavour and culture.

Downstairs lies the heart of Omnom’s wellbeing vision. This is where OMspace, the brand’s dedicated studio and events hub, comes to life. Managed by Beth Griffiths, the space has been thoughtfully designed to host everything from yoga and meditation to workshops, talks and community gatherings. It is fully equipped with mats, blocks and accessories and can comfortably accommodate over 100 people with room to grow. Depending on the format, the studio can host up to 200 guests which makes it one of the most flexible interiors of its kind in the city.
Beth brings experience, creativity and a calm guiding presence to the studio. Her role includes programming events, supporting teachers and ensuring that OMspace becomes a thriving community platform for both established practitioners and complete beginners. Under her management, the studio is set to become a prominent destination for yoga, breathwork, wellness training and cultural experiences.

Omnom’s commitment to impact extends well beyond its physical space. As a registered charity, the organisation follows a simple and powerful model. For every meal served and for every class attended, a child in need receives a hot, nutritious meal. This charitable focus has already delivered thousands of meals in the UK and abroad and the Birmingham launch will expand that mission even further. Guests can enjoy food and wellbeing experiences while directly supporting meaningful change.

The Birmingham venue is also a home for culture. Inspired by Bhakti Yoga and supported by the OmLife community, Omnom hosts mantra music evenings, Soulful Sundays, talks, retreats and gatherings that encourage reflection and connection. With both dining and wellbeing woven together, the space brings people into an environment that feels grounding and uplifting.
As the Travel & Hospitality Awards recognises, Omnom represents a new direction for modern hospitality. It is a restaurant that feeds the body, a studio that nurtures the mind and a charity that creates real-world impact through everyday experiences. By merging conscious cuisine with a growing wellness culture and a genuine commitment to service, Omnom Birmingham stands out as one of the most exciting new openings of the year.
The city has gained not just another restaurant but a community home built on kindness, flavour and purpose. We look forward to seeing Omnom become one of Birmingham’s most cherished destinations.
